It's time to start creating keywords.

Sometimes it's hard to pick the right "keywords" for your website. They're usually hidden and often don't make much sense.

Looking at Keyword Clouds and Keyword Density will help you get started on your keyword list.

For now, a list of 15 keywords for the Precision Resources homepage would be enough.
As we get to product and subject specific pages, the changes in keywords will become more obvious.

How a Keyword Cloud Works

A good way to visualize what your keywords should look like is to view a "keyword cloud" from one of your competitors.

A Keyword Cloud is a visual depiction of keywords used on a website. Keywords having higher density are depicted in a larger fonts.
Ideally your main, most valuable keywords should appear in larger fonts at the start of the cloud.

How Keyword Density Works

Keyword Density is the percentage of occurrence of your keywords to the text in the rest of your webpage.
It is important for your main selected keywords (those that would appear in your Keyword Cloud), be also used a few times to help rank well in Search Engines.

For example: the word "plate" is high on the TCi chart because it's used often in the site, NOT necessarily because it's an important word.

the same is true of the word "quality" on both sites. used often by everyone and it ranks high...but doesn't almost everyone use it?
A word that would be more specific to precision machining would have more overall value than the over-used word "quality".
